F&B Project Manager- UAE

Working in a dynamic hospitality consultancy environment. Spends significant time on project management responsibilities. Manage multiple projects simultaneously in KSA and UAE. Responsible for overseeing workers in various departments who are assigned certain tasks to complete for a given project. As assigned, lead or assist in the planning, implementation and introduction of projects for new systems and technologies Possess strong relationship-building skills and be able to explore win-win opportunities with clients – helping to grow our business in  UAE & KSA.

Duties and responsibilities:

 DAILY

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Market research and business planning.
  • Identify key business opportunities via spotting popular brands, trends, and pricing to ensure managing the portfolio toward a growth plan.
  • Track and report project development results, analyze data, interpret reports and information, and publish recommendations & action plans for the company and clients
  • Concept creation, development, and implementation.
  • Coordination between all parties: Design, Graphic, Contractors, Client, Food tasting, and Kitchen suppliers.
  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
  • Preparing and maintaining project timeline, making sure all deliverables are completed accordingly. Report the progress to the client.
  • Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts between involved parties or functional areas.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
  • Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology.
  • Coordinates the efforts of various workers in order to ensure that required tasks can be accomplished.
  • Recommends changes to a project that is ongoing if it appears it is not proceeding on schedule or is producing unsatisfactory results.
  • Motivates the Projects Team

WEEKLY

  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery.
  • Coordination with HR recruitment process.
  • Coordination with Procurement Department sourcing on OS&E.
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Develop methods to monitor project or area progress and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients’ needs as appropriate to senior management.
  • Develops a timeline for the completion of certain milestones for a given project.
  • Creates a budget for the completion of a particular job and monitors the amount of money spent in order to ensure the project does not exceed this amount.
  • Develops an alternate course of action for completing a job should the initial plan fail.
  • Reviews proposals and approves or denies them
  • Contracts with outside agencies for support on an as-needed basis

MONTHLY

  • Makes presentations to investors, business partners and company executives concerning different phases of a project.
  • Updates and submits monthly report and deliverables.

Qualifications:

Education:  Hospitality degree or equivalent education preferred.

Experience Required:  Minimum 8 years of experience required in the similar position.

                                      Must Have experience in consultancy and F&B Operation

Languages:

  • English (Required)
  • Arabic (Required)

Pro-actively engages present and future stakeholders in design, priority setting, and implementation.

Creates a sense of belonging and ownership among team members; assembles a team with the right mix of skills; coaches and motivates team members; delegates responsibility; promotes mutual support and interaction. Consults and provides advice, facilitates discussion and resolves conflict; establishes trust; builds and uses cross functional relationships to accomplish work objectives.
